A Challenging Activity
- Project: Grand Opening – Whole Foods Market, Jacksonville, FL.
- Description: 50,000-square-foot store opens in the “city of bridges”, in a new market during a recession with many uncertainties.
- Role: Pioneer, managed P&L statements, and community relations.
- Positive outcome: Implemented successful store opening activities by kicking off a YMCA partnership; 1000 attended 2 days before the grand opening. Created strong and long-lasting ties to the community by partnering with more than 30 organizations.
- My favorite part: Seeing store sales increase by 15% annually and original partnerships growing stronger year after year.
